At the 19th regular general shareholders' meeting of Kokusai Capital Corporation (Toshihito Hayano, President), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIFUL Corporation, held June 25, 2004, partial amendments to the company's articles of incorporation were approved. As a result, it was decided that the company?s name would be changed to New Frontier Partners Co., Ltd. on July 1, 2004.

On June 11, 2004, AIFUL Corporation and Wide Corporation have reached agreement for AIFUL to acquire WIDE. Under the terms of the merger agreement, which has been approved by each company's board of directors, AIFUL will be entitled to receive 100% of WIDE common stock. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of June 2004.

AIFUL Corporation has announced that it has formally concluded a sponsor agreement with the administrator of TCM Corporation, attorney Fujiaki Mimura. The details are outlined below. As its sponsor, AIFUL will extend the support TCM needs to reorganize during the bankruptcy proceedings it is currently undergoing.

AIFUL Corporation has announced that it merged three of its subsidiaries -Happy Credit Corporation, Sinwa Co., Ltd., and Sanyo Shinpan Co., Ltd.- on April 1, 2004. The resulting company began official operations on Monday, April 5, 2004, and is called Tryto Corporation (Taichi Kawakita, President).
